120 Foot Cell Tower to be erected in Marshalltown in a Residential Area.

US Cellular has applied for a Special Use Permit from the City of Marshalltown to erect a 120 foot cell phone tower on the property of Best Vacuum Store and More at 107 East Meadow Lane in Marshalltown. The property is owned by Dean and Denise Stucky, and the location of the proposed cell phone tower is approximately sixty feet north of property lines of the residential neighborhood on Palmer Street and just west of the Best Vacuum Store and More building. The proposed cell phone tower would be located approximately one-quarter mile from the Marshalltown Senior High School property.

Marshalltown Cell Tower Decision Recommendation upcoming hearing May 1st. This hearing will be the recommendation by the Planning and Zoning Commission for or against uplifting a cell tower near well established peaceful neighborhoods containing schools in southside Marshalltown. The proposed site is within one-half mile of the grounds of Fisher Elementary, Marshalltown Senior High School, and St. Henry's Catholic School.



The proposed cell phone tower would be located on land to be leased to US Cellular by Dean and Denise Stucky, owners of Best Vacuum Store and More.
